Wonderful cosy warm socks

I’ve worn Norsewear socks most of my adult life (45 years) both as gumboot and work boot socks, as weather in Southland can get extremely cold, more so over the frozen wet winters, (often wearing two pairs to keep warm.)
I purched the Ranger socks this time as I believe Merino wool has the best fibres to keep you warmer on very cold days but not over heat your feet in the hotter summer months.
So far the Ranger socks are living up to their name in the summer days, but yet to know how they rate in the cold frosts in our winters. Hopefully I’ll only need one pair of these think cushioning Ranger socks, but will wait and see. Also hoping to do a bit of bushwalking in my retiring years and will be using the Ranger socks in my new hiking boots.

Would recommend the Norseware Ranger socks for comfort, plus warmth on the cold frosty winters.

Our last ones wore really well!

Longevity, possibly a quaint feature these days, is nevertheless what my husband and I are looking for in a winter sock. I bought these new Norsewear brand socks for him after the ones he's had for what seems like many years, started to wear into holes. So until the requisite number of years have passed, we can't say definitively that we endorse them. However, as gumboot socks they are nice and padded - in fact, when he first put them on he declared, "These are so luxurious and thick, I hardly even need the gumboots!"
