Anyone can buy yarn and machines. We have a fair bit of yarn and some of the most modern Italian sock knitting machines available. What makes the real difference though, are our people and our mission to get people wearing better socks and buying less. We’ve been knitting socks in our current factory since Norsewear moved from Wellington to Norsewood in 1967. Once of the great advantages of this continuity is the ability to grow expertise and experience. Our senior design and technical team have over 100 years of sock making experience between them and are amongst the most respected sock engineers in Australasia. Many of our staff have built their careers at Norsewear and are committed to ensuring our local community can thrive.
