We use Merino wool in our socks because it provides insulation that keeps you warm in winter and breathability that keeps you cool in summer. Merino also resists odour and delivers great moisture management keeping your feet drier, more comfortable, and less prone to blisters. Merino fibres are so fine, they gently bend when in contact with your skin, providing softness and comfort
Care

For best results warm wash with soft detergent. Line dry, don’t tumble dry, iron or bleach.

The best work socks

Warm, soft, comfortable and they stay up and don't bunch up in your boots. They're worth it. I wear about a size 11 but the XL were too large; Norsewear kindly exchanged them for L which are perfect.

Warm but are they?

Bought to deal with chilblains, trying to see if they're warmer than a thick woolly sock, they feel about the same. Still get the toe tingles after slipping the gumboots off for the day and putting on slippers. Have to say I'm on the fence with these, sock feels warm but toes still cold to touch. They move in gumboots too, don't stay on the foot.

Was issued 4 pairs of these in 2007 when I did a 12 month stint in Antarctica. They've had a lot of use since then too. 3 of the 4 pairs are still going strong nearly 18 years later. Very impressed with the durability and warmth of these socks.

The socks you can't go without

Working in an alpine environment which frequents 10 below, I needed a sock that could meet the challenge. I wear them with insulated snow boots and my feet are warm all day. These are now my go-to socks when the Central Otago winter hits.
